Kathleen joined the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Campus Ministry department in the fall of 2019. After graduating from College of the Holy Cross with a degree in Religious Studies with a concentration in Peace and Conflict, she taught for a year beforeÌýshe returned for her Masters of Divinity from Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Since graduating from Boston College, she has worked in Campus Ministry at all-girls high schools in Washington, DC and Cleveland. After formative experiences founded in Ignatian spirituality through faith sharing groups, Immersions, and retreats in college and graduate school, Kathleen is excited to work with liturgical and prayer experiences at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ with students from all faith traditions. In her spare time, she loves to explore new places with her husband and two children, baking, and going for bike rides.

Michelle joined the Campus Ministry staff in the Spring of 2022. She has a backgroundÌýin Early Childhood Education. She has always had a passion for helping students cultivate a love of learning and especially reading. She volunteered for many years in her children's school library. In her free time Michelle loves to spendÌýtime with her family, especially with her 3 very active daughters. Her personal interests include running, gardening and just being outdoors rain, snow or shine.

Jurell is an alum of ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ from 2010 and 2013. After graduating in 2010 Jurell moved to Detroit to work as a Jesuit Volunteer. He worked full-time at Detroit Cristo Rey High SchoolÌýteaching math and creative writing. He returned to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ as a Resident Minister and as a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Theology. Upon graduating, he has worked as a youth minister and also as a theology teacher at St. Edward High School. Outside of work, Jurell runs a video production company and a ministry website called thelivingperson.com which challenges people to become fully alive through different community challenges.

Shelby graduated from Spring Hill College with a BS in Psychology in May of 2019. While she was there, she was actively involved in Campus Ministry and dedicated to tutoring students in middle and high school all four years. After graduating, Shelby joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, where she served in Syracuse, NY at an afterschool program for refugee youth. This experience led her to pursuing a Master’s in School Counseling through ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Shelby is looking forward to joining the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and Campus Ministry community and she is bringing passions for social justice, service, community, and rom-com knowledge to the students she meets along the way.

This year Fr. Bernie officially joins the Campus Ministry staff! He hasÌýbeen at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ for ten years, more recently servingÌýas the Assistant Dean of Students. Fr. Bernie is the chaplain and advisor for the Knights of Columbus and works regularlyÌýwith the athletic teams. He will continue to minister to our students through various programs and liturgies throughout the year.ÌýHisÌýhome city is Rochester, NY.

Julianne graduated from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.Ìý During her undergraduate experience, she was involved in Campus Ministry through being a CFC leader as well as participating in retreats and immersions.Ìý She also worked as peer mentor in CSDI. Currently, Julianne is in the School Counseling Masters program. Julianne is passionate about faith, justice, and mental health.Ìý She hopes that she can accompany students through this experience and be a resource for students whenever they need.Ìý

Mo graduated from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in 2020 after studying Classics and Chemistry. She was involved in many aspects of campus life, including Admissions, Student Engagement, Club Sports, and Campus Ministry through retreats and Immersions. She has a passion for sustainability, faith and spirituality, community, and social justice and looks forward to sharing those passions with students at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. Jenny graduated from ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ in 2022 with her BS in Psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. She was involved on campus through campus ministry, service, and research. Upon graduation, Jenny did a year of service with City Year Cleveland where she served as a student success coach in an under-resourced public school in CMSD. This experience allowed her to explore her passions of social justice, mental health and wellbeing, and educational equity. As Jenny pursues her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she hopes to walk alongside students in their journeys to their fuller selves. When not working or studying, Jenny can be found crocheting something new or at the nearest thrift store.Ìý
