Incoming transfer students are required to register for Transfer Transition at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳, where they may meet with an advisor to put together a course schedule for the upcoming semester and learn about important campus resources.

Spring 2025 Transfer Transition Date

  • January 10 (register by January 3)

Transfer students will be approved to meet with an advisor for course registration prior to Transfer Transition Day if:

  1. A final official transcript from the student's most recent institution attended has been received and evaluated;
  2. Foreign language placement testing (if required) has been completed; and
  3. They are registered for Transfer Transition Day.

If these requirements are completed and you are able to meet with an advisor in advance to schedule your classes for the upcoming semester, we encourage you to attend the Campus Resource dinner starting at 5:00 pm. Please refer to your for more information.

Registration:

Access to your next steps for enrollment, including the link to register for Transfer Transition, will be available within your  upon submitting your enrollment deposit.Ìý

Once your registration has been received, we will send a confirmation email to the email address linked to your myÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Gateway.Ìý

Fee:

Each student will be charged a $100 fee for the Transfer Transition process, which covers advising and registration fees, meals, and other program costs. This fee will be added to your ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ student account.

Schedule:

Check-in for Transfer Transition is from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm. Transfer students who are living on campus should plan on picking up their residence hall keys at 10:00 am. The schedule for the entire event can be found .

Parking:

Free parking is available on the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ campus for students and guests for Transfer Transition Day. Guests are asked to enter the campus through our front gates, which can be found off of Fairmount Circle near Warrensville Center Road.

Once you enter through the campus gates, you will turn right and park in the second large parking lot, which is adjacent to a large green space known as Hamlin Quad. Check in for Transfer Transition Day will be held in the O'Malley Center, which is attached to St. Ignatius Hall (the building with our iconic bell tower).

Submitting your Carroll Card ID picture:

All incoming students are required to submit a headshot online for their Carroll Card. In the picture, students must be facing forward, cannot be wearing a cap or hat, and need to use a neutral background. Your picture can be submitted .Ìý

Students who have successfully submitted their picture online will be able to pick up their Carroll Card during the afternoon of Transfer Transition in the Carroll Card Office, room 06 on the ground level of St. Ignatius Hall.
