ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳

Throughout the last 100 years, we've seen ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ student-athletes hoist OAC championship trophies, earn All-American honors and transform into young men and women who lead and serve, not only on their teams, but in all aspects of their lives. Our teams are able to succeed in part because of the loyal support the ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ community has provided over the last century.

Blue Streak student-athletes are held to high standards on and off the field of competition and are some of the hardest working student-athletes in all of Division III Athletics. Additional support is necessary to provide the best experience possible for every student-athlete who dons the blue and gold! Together, we can ensure a successful future for ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Athletics.

Athletic Philanthropic Priorities

Without a doubt, the greatest supporter of the Blue Streaks continues to be the Blue Gold Club, which provides resources to enhance the student-athlete experience.

Since it’s inception in 1982, the Blue Gold Club has been the official booster club for varsity athletics at ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳. The Club has been instrumental in providing additional support for facility renovations & enhancements, training improvements, capital support for individual teams, awards, recognition, in addition to other athletic support that benefits ALL varsity student-athletes.

Gifts to the Blue Gold Club will support ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Athletics' current and most pressing needs.

Direct support to each individual varsity athletic team is instrumental in ensuring that each coach is able to provide an amazing student-athlete experience. The creation of funds dedicated to supporting individual teams (restricted operating funds and endowed funds) allows the coaches of each team the ability to enhance the team experience and fund opportunities and experiences over and beyond what annual budgets cover. Enhanced experiences assist in recruiting exceptional student-athletes to matriculate to ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ and provide lifelong memories for ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ student-athletes.

This fund will empower and enable the Senior Director of Athletics to address funding challenges that the athletic department faces on a year to year basis. Some years the women's volleyball team requires new uniforms, the football team might need an equipment upgrade, or the coach of a specific team might need an increased coaching or training stipends. ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ has 21 Varsity athletic teams and each year they present unforeseen challenges that can be addressed by this fund.
