A Credible Faith: Catholic Identity in the Midst of Scandal,” a lecture by Richard R. Gaillardetz, Ph.D., will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 7:30pm in the LSC Conference Room of the DJ Lombardo Student Center at Ӱ̳. 

The event is free and open to the public.

The lecture is sponsored by the Institute of Catholic Studies, the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, and the Breen Chair in Catholic Theology. 

Dr. Gaillardetz is the Joseph Professor of Catholic Systematic Theology at Boston College and the current chair of the theology department. He previously served at the University of Toledo and at the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Theology in Houston. He has authored or edited thirteen books.
